Branding Campaign

Edmonton Home Group needed help in launching their new brand SellerInvite.com. The Real estate market is a highly competitive, and a strong online presence is crucial for success. That’s where MLM came in.

Edmonton Home Group’s main objective was to create a strong unique brand identity for SellerInvite.com, as well as establish an immediate web presence that portrayed it as a reputable contender in the Edmonton Real Estate market.

MLM developed the branding strategy, created the design, and executed a compelling plan for the website that included an online “Seller University,” print and email newsletters, corporate identity, promotional material, and environmental signage.

Result: Within a short time frame, SellerInvite.com became an established and reputable real estate brokerage firm in Alberta with a unique online brand personality that will soon be franchising into the rest of Canada.

Gunther von Hagens’ BODY WORLDS
The Original Exhibition of Real Human Bodies
Marketing Campaign

Body Worlds, the world-renowned original exhibition of real human bodies has been visited by over 25 million people worldwide, making it the most highly attended museum exhibit in history. BODY WORLDS was due to visit Edmonton, Alberta and the organizers needed a creative and innovative marketing firm to create buzz and bring in attendees to the exhibition in Western Canada.

MLM was hired to create and implement customized marketing initiatives that resonated with local prospective attendees. Building on the BODY WORLDS’ already established global brand-name, MLM would introduce already present and established BODY WORLDS’ brand elements to this new market.

Marketing to media and third-party partners, publication management, and niche markets (tourism, education, government, seniors, etc.), MLM organized corporate sponsorships and obtained promotional partners for the exhibition. The firm employed such tactics as an on-the-ground street team, interactive marketing, and created all marketing and promotional materials including brochures, coupons, POP displays, posters and indoor/outdoor signage.

Result:MLM’s efforts brought in over 300,000 visitors to the BODY WORLD’s Exhibit, making it the highest-attended exhibit in Edmonton to date.

University of Alberta Faculty of Arts
Targeted Marketing & Branding Campaigns

The Faculty of Arts of the University of Alberta needed a new brand identity, both offline and online. Having lacked a compelling identity, there was little motivation for a prospective student to enroll in the Faculty of the Arts. MLM was hired to create and develop a new brand persona.

By creating a host of targeted marketing communications including e-newsletters, direct mail and presentations, MLM gave the faculty a fresh new identity that resonated with both prospective and current students alike.

Through extensive market research, MLM identified key brand elements that needed to be in place for the brand to become more engaging. MLM set new marketing best practices for the brand, creating visual identity guidelines so The Faculty of the Arts will have a strong presence for years to come.

Result:The University of Alberta Faculty of Arts became a thriving and well-recognized brand both online and offline. Within one year they saw an increase of 11% in prospective student applications as well as a 140% web traffic increase.
